RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY
At VOLTREX, all bikes are delivered fully assembled, tested, adjusted, and ready to ride. Because of the nature of our products and delivery service, our returns process differs from standard boxed retail products.
AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available to you under Australian Consumer Law.
If a product has a major fault, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
FAULTY OR DAMAGED PRODUCTS
Please inspect your order upon delivery.
If your bike, accessory, or spare part arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact VOLTREX as soon as possible and preferably within 48 hours of delivery and provide photos or video where possible.
We will assess the issue and determine the most appropriate solution, which may include:
- Repair
- Replacement part
- Product replacement
- Refund where required under Australian Consumer Law
CHANGE OF MIND
VOLTREX does not offer refunds for change of mind once an order has been dispatched or delivered.
Any change-of-mind return request is at the sole discretion of VOLTREX and must be approved in writing before a return is accepted.
Approved change-of-mind returns may be subject to:
- Return transport costs
- Inspection and handling fees
- Restocking fees where applicable
Products must be returned in unused, unmodified, and as-new condition with all supplied accessories, manuals, and original packaging where available.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Returns and refunds are not available for:
- Custom-built, personalised, or special-order products
- Products damaged through misuse, neglect, accidents, or unauthorised modifications
- Products damaged due to improper charging, storage, maintenance, or handling
- Products affected by corrosion, salt exposure, flooding, or water ingress
- Normal wear-and-tear items including tyres, tubes, brake pads, chains, grips, and cosmetic wear
- Clearance, sale, or discontinued items unless required under Australian Consumer Law
- Gift cards
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
Warranty claims may be refused where damage results from:
- Accidents or impacts
- Unauthorised repairs or modifications
- Improper use of the product
- Failure to follow operating or maintenance instructions
- Water damage caused by submersion or high-pressure cleaning
REFUND PROCESSING
Where a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank, card provider, or payment platform.
